A story

                Heya guys! So, today I'm gonna post a short story. It's titled, 'The Zoo'.

THE ZOO

                One day, at a zoo, there was a new attraction. The zookeepers had gotten a new cub which was orphaned in the wild. Its cage was put beside an old lion's cage. The old lion just sat around sleeping the entire day.

                “Lions ought not to behave like that!” the young lion said to himself, so he roared at all the visitors and tried to break the bars of the den.

                At three o’clock a man brought a big piece of meat and put it in the old lion’s den. Then, he put a bag of nuts and two bananas in the young lion’s den.

                The young lion was very surprised. “I don’t understand this.” He said to the old lion. “I behave like a real lion, while you lie there and do nothing and look what happens!”

                Right at that moment, a pair of near sighted women passed by. As usual, the cub roared squeakily and trashed around in the cage. Then, one of the women said,

                "Look at how terrible the guards are! Putting a poor little monkey in a cage beside a ferocious big lion! It looks terrified!"
